The Old Razzle Dazzle

The Old Razzle Dazzle is a meditation on tourism, camouflage and beauty, filmed on location in Monet’s garden in Giverny. Isabella was fascinated by how Monet might have responded to contemporary methods and practices of viewing, and how viewing is performed in heritage sites. This suite of works includes a three-screen installation, a version for VR, and a series of prints.

This project was supported by the Terra Foundation for American Art and Arts Council England. The Old Razzle Dazzle VR was supported by De Montfort University and FelixArt Museum.
